A film and documentary followed by a Q&A session with experts in the field.
We need to talk about...death.
The evening will begin with the premiere of a short film, 'A Grave Matter'. The film deals with the sensitive subject of death and 'what happens when you die?' The film will be followed by a short documentary featuring interviews with experts in the field of death and dying and members of the public talking about their own experiences.
After the screening, there will be a Q&A session with world leading author on Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) Dr Penny Sartori and Sue Brayne from the Death Cafe.
Join us for an inspiring and uplifting evening talking about a subject that most of us try to avoid!
Films by Lt Film and MetaMedia.
We recommend using Southgate Car Park if you are driving. From here, walk across the road to the train station and under the archway to the back. Cross over the river via the footbridge and cross the road up on to Widcombe high street. At the end of the street you will see the social club at the bottom of Widcombe Hill. The entrance is just up the hill on the left.
Please note that we won't be able to take card payments for tickets on the night so please bring cash or purchase your tickets online.
There will be a bar open for refreshments where card payments are accepted.
